Minutes Of PSPS Board Meeting
May 20, 2006

Discussions were held on the following:

1. Membership
       Tammy Stripple, Lancaster to assume the duties of membership and database management.
       Online payment is up and running to cover membership and meeting registrations via PayPal.
       It is imperative to boost our membership as it will only strengthen our position witht he state and with grant writing.

2. General Membership Meeting
       The general membership meeting will be held in the fall in Allentown, PA.  The tentative dates are the weekend of September 8, 9 & 10, 2006.
       We need to solicit help with recruiting speakers.

3. Government relations
       The Winter Group has had numerous conference calls in reference to the movement of our four bills in Congress.
       A visitation day is planned for June 13, 2006 with members of the Senate Licensure Committee.
       A "blitz" day will be scheduled for October to get both Senate and House members further educated on our cause.
       The Winter Group is confident that we could get movement on all our bills this summer.

4. Finance
       We currently have enough in our books to cover another 2 1/2 months of lobbyist fees.  We plan to boost our finances with a membership drive, general membership meeting and grant writing.
